Dear Parents,
I hope the holiday season was fun filled and rewarding. This week Mr.
Glen Boyd joined the Arbor Heights staff. Glen will be teaching primary
reading groups in the mornings.
Before the break I mentioned that we wanted to replace the sofa and
chairs that are on the second floor. If you know of any replacement
furniture that would be suitable, please call me (933-5350).
The mildew smell appears to be gone from the building. A crew of
maintenance teams will be here from January 18th through February 2nd to
do a variety of repairs which will hopefully prevent any recurrence of
the dampness in the building.
The Safety Committee has been working to update our emergency plan.
More information will be coming home about individual packets for our
students soon.
Student Recognition Awards were not presented in December because of the
short month. We will acknowledge four (4) students per classroom over
the next several months to allow each student in every classroom an
opportunity to be recognized sometime during the school year.
Sincerely,
Barry S. Dorsey
Principal

Seattle Pacific University in addition to being an avid marathon runner
and mountain climber. Please feel free to send a card or note to Mrs.
Crichton via the office and we will forward them to her.
