Parent Bulletin

Dear Parents,

A week from today many of us will be celebrating Thanksgiving with family and friends. In this season of giving thanks I want to give a special thanks to the Arbor Heights staff for all they do. We are truly lucky to have these quality instructors teaching our children. I also want to thank all the parents and students for their hard work this year.

Please help us officially welcome Lori Boyer to the Arbor Heightsí staff. Mrs. Boyer has been substituting as the Instructional Assistant in Room 8. Itís nice to have her on a permanent basis.

Conferences continue through Tuesday, November 21st. I hope you can use the information from your childís teacher to help supplement any instruction that is given in the classroom. Some students may need accelerated learning schedules. Please ask your childís teacher how you can help with this acceleration process.

Finally, I want to thank Barbara Bailey and Pam Rogers for putting together a great Veterans Day program. We salute both of you.

Barry S. Dorsey

Conference Schedule Continues

The conference schedule continues next week. Students will be dismissed on Monday and Tuesday at 1:00. On Wednesday all students will be dismissed at 2:10. There will be no school on Thursday and Friday, November 23rd and 24th in celebration of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Due to the short week we are not planning to send out a parent bulletin before the Thanksgiving Break.

Kudoís to You

Thank you to all the wonderful parents and guardians that read the Thursday Parent Bulletin so carefully each week. We attempt to make our written correspondence to you as short and succinct as possible. We are diligent about sending everything home one day a week, to make it as easy as possible for you. We have a Monday deadline for groups to submit things to be sent home so we can have an easy to read packet. We thank you for rewarding our efforts by reading the information we send home.

Targetís most recent donation to the school was $456.84, in October of this year. Remember every penny counts!
