    Parent Bulletin

February 1, 2001

Dear Parents,

I want to welcome Maria Allegre to the Arbor Heights staff.  We have

been waiting for this position to fill for months!  We are happy to have

Maria as part of the Arbor Heights team.

The Hoop Shoot is tomorrow.  I want to thank Mr. Warford for putting

together another exciting activity.  In addition I want to thank the

students for their outstanding work on the exceptional group of posters

made this year.  As a judge, it is almost impossible to choose

individual posters to be rewarded.  I also want to commend students on

their teamwork and cooperation as they put together their posters.

Sincerely,

Barry S. Dorsey

Principal

Science Fair Bake Sale

Attention!   The Science Fair is coming and that means it is time for

another Bake Sale!  Yes, on Thursday, February 8th we’ll need your

cookies, brownies, rice krispie squares, gorp, muffins, scones, cakes,

etc.  No mold projects please (sorry, I couldn’t resist!)  These are the

kinds of school functions at which we make more money on the bake sales

– there is a lot to see, but not a lot of activities or other foods to

compete!  So bake exponentially!  Please bring your donated items to the

office on Thursday morning, February 8th, or send them in with your

child. We will be there at 9:00 to take in, sort and price.  And

remember, we cannot store anything that requires refrigeration.  If you

have questions, please call Layne Bautista.
