Our
first Arts Festival will be held on Thursday evening, 7 March from 6:30 until
8:30. This year the Arts Festival is
scheduled in lieu of the science fair.
Last school year, it was agreed that Arbor Heights would rotate science,
arts and international celebrations of learning.
In
two weeks, each class will go through an orientation outlining the expectations
for the Arts Festival. Each student
will be given a packet containing information about individual art projects to
be completed at home. Our goal is that
every student will display one piece of art for the festival. That’s over 400 pieces of art!
In
addition to student individual projects, each class will create a class
project. All class projects will be
displayed in the library during the festival as part of the silent auction.
Please
plan on attending the Arts Festival.
Encourage your children to be creative and think about volunteering in
classrooms to help teachers and students with class projects.
Thanks
for your cooperation. See you at the
Arts Festival!

2002/2003 elementary enrollment guide is now posted on the district

Room 1 (Ms. Jones) needs lots of clean, empty half-gallon
milk containers as well as juice containers for a special project. They are needed as soon as possible. Thank you!
