P.T.S.A. Popcorn Coordinator:
We will continue to have popcorn on Fridays thanks to
Patty Iwamato who has graciously accepted to be our Popcorn Coordinator for the
2004/2005 school year. We still
will need parent volunteers to help sell popcorn on Fridays.
A big thank you this year to our Popcorn
Coordinator Sally Norton and her volunteer helpers for all they have done to
make this year a great one for the kids!
Popcorn on Fridays has been a special treat
enjoyed by everyone!! Thank You….
School Banking:
The school year is almost over, with field trips and
crazy schedules affecting school banking. Congratulations
to those who have been consistent enough with their deposits to make it all the
way to the end of the Tracking Guide and receive their shoulder-sling backpacks!
The rest of you will have one more chance.
There will be no school banking on Wednesday, June 2nd.
The last day of school banking will be Wednesday, June
9th. Those of you who
participated in school banking this year will automatically be signed up for
next year. An announcement will be
made at the beginning of next year to let you know when we will begin taking
deposits. Graduating 5th
graders can manage their accounts directly with Washington Mutual after June 9th.
Washington Mutual has come up with a way to support
your favorite school. Enroll in the
WaMoola for Schools program. Every
time you use your Washington Mutual Visa Check Card, points will be earned.
At the end of the year, your points will be converted to dollars and
donated directly to the school of your choice (that would be Arbor Heights, of
course)! If you already have a
card, just go to www.wamoolaforschools.com
and enroll on line (searching the school directory at their website to choose
your favorite school), or fill out a form at any Washington Mutual branch.
If you don’t have a card and would like to
participate, you can open a Washington Mutual checking account and get the card
with no monthly fees. For questions
about this program, call 1-866-WAMOOLA.
