from 6:00 – 8:00p.m. at Southgate Roller Rink.
The cost will be $5.00 per student.

PICTURE RE-TAKE DAY:
LifeTouch Studios will be at our school on Wed., Nov. 10th
to take retakes of those students who were either absent or were unhappy with
the photos that were taken on Oct. 6th. There are order forms in the office if you wish to purchase a
picture packet for your child. If
you were dissatisfied with the original photos, please send the entire picture
packet back with your child on Nov. 10th.
A new photo will be taken at that time.
PRE-REGISTRATION FOR 2005/2006:
Nov. 1 – Dec. 17, 2004 (November and December until
winter break)
Pre-register kindergarten students (and students in
other grades who will enter Seattle Public Schools in September 2005).
Families can pre-register at an Enrollment Center, by mail or fax, or at
the Bilingual Family Center. You’ll
complete a registration form and provide required documents.
You will be mailed a pre-printed school application in January, and you
can make school choices and apply by mail or in person during the “on time”
Open Enrollment period, January 18 – February 28, 2005.
NEW THIS YEAR!
Sibling Early Assignment*
Nov. 1 – Dec. 17, 2004 (November and December until
winter break)
Students applying for the entry grade at a school a
sibling attends this year, and will continue to attend next year, may submit a
Sibling Early Assignment Application during the pre-registration period.
The application will be processed at that time.
Since sibling priority is the top “tiebreaker” for assignment to
oversubscribed schools, these siblings would get the same assignments if they
applied during Open Enrollment in January-February.
By processing these applications ahead of time, this will make the Open
Enrollment period less crowded and more convenient for everyone. (*certain
restrictions apply. It is
recommended that you apply in person for this option to verify eligibility.)
REQUEST FROM ROOM 7 – MS. SATO’S CLASS:
Room 7 is working on an art project which requires the
use of mismatched socks. Please
make sure the socks you donate are clean and prefer they be any color
other than white.
