PICTURE RE-TAKE DAY REMINDER:
LifeTouch Studios will be at our school on Wed., Nov. 10th
to take retakes of those students who were either absent or were unhappy with
the photos that were taken on Oct. 6th. There are order forms in the office if you wish to purchase a
picture packet for your child. If
you were dissatisfied with the original photos, please send the entire picture
packet back with your child on Nov. 10th. A new photo will be taken at that time.
ANNUAL FALL CLEAN UP:
Our fall clean up will be held Sunday, Nov. 14th.
Our primary goal this year is to eradicate the ivy that has taken over
the flower bank in front of the school. We
will have two work sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
In the morning, we will concentrate on stripping out the ivy and then in
the afternoon we will concentrate on planting and transplanting drought
resistant plants. If anyone has
plants that need a new home, please feel free to bring them to the school.
The bank gets a lot of sun and very little summer irrigation, so we are
looking for sun loving, drought tolerant plants.
Volunteers are needed for both work sessions.
Whatever time you can spare would be greatly appreciated.
If you have any questions, please call Dave Hadaway at
(206) 200-3174. Mr. Hadaway has
agreed to organize and coordinate this event.
LOST AND FOUND ITEMS:
We have accumulated quite a few lost and found items.
Please remind your child to check the gray bin in the play court area if
they are missing coats, backpacks etc. We
will be bundling up any unclaimed items and donating them to a charitable
organization in the near future.
