FUN NIGHT - Tomorrow Reminder: The PTA's Family Fun Night will be held tomorrow, November 21st, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The evening will include games, crafts, a bake sale, dancing, memory photos, etc. The theme is country-western so feel free to wear your boots, jeans, cowpoke hats, etc. (There is even a pig calling contest!) Proceeds for this event will support our evening computer program. A family emergency requires me to be in Portland tomorrow night so I won't be able to join in the fun this time, but the evening should be fun-filled for the whole family. Free Tickets to the Nutcracker Our school has been given 16 tickets to the December 3rd performance of the Nutcracker by the Pacific Northwest Ballet. The program will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Opera House. Each school received tickets to reward children who have been doing an excellent job in reading this year. We feel that all of our children have been doing a great job so we would like to offer two tickets (one adult - one student) to eight families. If you would like to be entered in a drawing for the tickets, please return the tear-off below by Monday, November 24th. We will call you if your name is drawn. Our superintendent, John Stanford, will be attending the ballet that night with the families. A Reminder From Your PTA A number of fundraisers have been planned for this year. Recently you received information about our pasta sale and our holiday wreath sale. Tomorrow, November 21st, is the deadline for both of these fundraisers. Checks should be made payable to AHPTSA. (Note: The wreath does not include a bow as pictured.) PTA Arbor Heights T-shirts The last day to order your Arbor Heights T-shirts/Sweatshirts is Friday, November 21st. Thank you. Dismissal Schedule We will continue to dismiss school at 1:00 for conferences through next Tuesday, November 25th.
