LATE BUSES!!!
Attention parents of school bus riders: If the bus is late
getting your child home, please call 298-7900 to talk directly
to the Transportation Department. The operators at
Transportation will be able to contact the bus driver directly
to let you know when you can expect your child to be delivered
to their bus stop.
WINTER PROGRAM
A reminder that the Winter Program is scheduled for Thursday,
December 17th. We will send home a reminder of the program
schedule on December 17th.
NEIGHBORHOOD PARKING REMINDER
The City of Seattle, Transportation Department, has notified us
that there have been complaints from the community about cars
blocking the driveways and mailboxes of our neighbors. The
neighboring residents of Arbor Heights are always so supportive
of us and we would like to show them the same respect. Picking
a meeting spot a block from the school may be an easier way to
get your students home if you are a parent that picks their
child up everyday. We appreciate your cooperation.
ANIMALS ON THE PLAYSCAPE
We seem to be in the midst of a pet problem here at school. We
have had a tremendous amount of animal feces on your beautiful
playscape. In order to protect the students from infection we
may be forced to close the playscape until this problem can be
eliminated. If you see someone on the school grounds with an
animal, please point out the posted signs that state the
regulations of no pets on the playground. No one wants to step
on animal droppings, let alone go down a feces covered slide!
EARLY DISMISSAL
Next Friday, December 18th, Seattle Public Schools will be
dismissed at 2:10. If your child rides a school bus home they
will be dropped off 1 hour earlier then their normal drop off
time. School will be back in session at the regular time on
Monday, January 4th, 1999!
Sincerely,
Barry Dorsey
Principal
