Also, we wish to commend those drivers that are slowing down while driving in front of the school. We would like to remind everyone that parking in the Bus Load Zone between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. is not allowed and cars will be ticketed.

The Link Between School and Home
Thursday, September 17, 1998

Message from the President:
I would like to welcome all parents and children back to school. Your input and involvement is very important in the decision making process at Arbor Heights. You will have a chance to discuss upcoming events at our first PTSA meeting on Thursday, September 17th at 7:00 p.m. The meetings will take place in the cafeteria. Childcare will be provided in the library for quiet activities and in the gym for those children who wish to participate in some structured games.
Please remember the safety of the children at Arbor Heights is very important. Please observe all signs, especially the Bus Load Zone Only signs at the front of the school. This area is to remain clear from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Everyone s cooperation would be greatly appreciated.
One last thing. This is PTSA Membership Drive Month. Please fill out
the membership envelope and return it to school as soon as possible. The
cost to join is $7.00 per person. A small amount to pay to show your
support for the Arbor Heights Children.
Suzette

SCRIP IS BACK!!

What is SCRIP? SCRIP is a program that enables us to earn BIG MONEY for our school without spending any more money than we normally spend.
SCRIP is a gift certificate. This very same gift certificate that is issued and guaranteed by the grocery stores, restaurants and retail stores that you shop at every day. Because the list is so extensive, you will not have to change where you shop, what you buy or even how much you spend in order to support the SCRIP program.
Your child will bring home more information on SCRIP, including a list of participating merchants and an order form, on Thursday, September 24th.
We will be selling grocery SCRIP in the school lobby on:

Monday September 14th and 21st 8:45 - 9:30 a.m.
Wednesday September 16th and 23rd 8:45 - 9:30 a.m.
Friday September 18th and 25th 2:45 - 3:30 p.m.
You may purchase SCRIP at that time or just stop by and see what it s all about. Interested in helping with the SCRIP program? We need more dedicated adult volunteers. Please call Tish Hesse.
