Parent Bulletin
April 29, 1999
Dear Parents/Guardians,
I am becoming increasingly concerned about the teasing and name calling at Arbor Heights. I know students become more reaction oriented at this time of year, but our expectations of students behavior must be consistent. Please be reminded that students that agitate or instigate other students must take responsibility for any positive or negative outcomes. In an effort to promote positive actions and reactions, we are starting a STAR points program this week. Various staff members will be entering the names of students they see promoting positive actions and/or reactions. These names will be recorded on a ticket, which will be put into a prize box in the lunchroom. Prizes will be awarded each week to those students whose names are drawn. There is no limit as to how many times a student may be recognized for good behavior. The grade level configuration and homeroom teacher assignments have been made for the 99/00 school year. They are:

There were 25 adult and 15 children who participated in the Clean-Up. You should see the chairs in the lunchroom - they are so clean!! This was another wonderful opportunity for the community to come together for our Arbor Heights students. I enjoyed myself and felt the event was a tremendous success.
Sincerely,
