Dear Parents,
The revised ITBS results are in for the third and fifth grade students.
They will be sent home with report cards on Friday, June 18th. Our
students scores increased by one point in Reading, four points in Language
Arts and two points in math. The fourth grade WASL results have not been
received as of this date.
In our AAP (Academic Achievement Plan) we are asking all fourth grade
parents to take a practice WASL test, to give them an idea of the kinds of
skills that students will need to be successful on the test. Any parent
of a current third grade student may receive a copy of this material this
summer by calling the office or writing a note to their current teacher.
I want to thank all the parents that took the time to complete the survey
on areas of focus for our AAP.
This year has flown by! I want to thank all of the Arbor Heights
educational community for all their support.
Sincerely,
Barry S. Dorsey
Principal
Moving over the summer?
If you know that your child will not be attending Arbor Heights Elementary
next year please send a note to school. We have many children on the
waitlist and would like to be able to assign them to classrooms before
September. Please send in a note as soon as possible that states the name
of your child/ren, forwarding address or new school name, the last date
your child will attend A.H. and your signature. Thank you, in advance,
for your cooperation.
