Parent Bulletin
June 17, 1999

Dear Parents,

Although our volunteers were recognized last week, I want to again acknowledge you for all your efforts and express my appreciation for all the things you do.

Thank you, Mr. Warford, for all your work in putting together our annual Field Day. The students, staff, and parents who were lucky enough to be here, all had a great time.

Summer is here! I hope everyone has a relaxing, peaceful and safe vacation and make sure those students, read, read, read in between recreational activities. I will be saddened to see some student leave us, but I am excited about the opportunities that lay ahead.

This summer I will be in the office on Monday and Wednesday mornings and most Friday mornings. I welcome the opportunity to talk with parents.

Have a maaaaa-velous summer.

Sincerely,
Barry S. Dorsey
Principal

Lost Campfire Vest
An Arbor Heights student has lost her blue Campfire Vest. This vest is loaded with beads and patches and is a reflection of the work that she has put in for many years. There is a name tag on the back of the vest that says either "T.B." or "Taylor B." If you have the vest or know where it is please call Diane Parr. Thank you.

Basketball Camp
Are you looking for a full week of LIFE SKILLS and BASKETBALL education and activities for your child this summer at a very reasonable rate? The Boys Basketball Program at Chief Sealth High School is sponsoring a Basketball/Life Skills Clinic from August 9th - 13th. In addition to teaching our valuable young people the fundamentals of the game with an emphasis on discipline, respect, effort and fun. Life skills such as drug/alcohol education, academic success and other necessary tools will be taught. Call Coach Che' Dawson for a brochure."
