Memorial Information
Rob, father of Arbor Heights students Angela and Melissa, passed away on Sunday following a long illness. We will miss the smile Rob always wore when he came to school to volunteer in his daughters' classrooms. Donations or memorial contributions may be made to any Washington Mutual Branch for medical expenses or for the children's education.

Congratulations to Young Achievers
Our PIPE partner, The Bon Marche', has asked us to select 10 students for their Spring Young Achievers Luncheon on March 30th. We are proud to announce that the following students were chosen by their teachers: Courtney, Shilo, Yozelli, Justin, Matthew, Amanda, Kehla, Hiep, Surafail, Lucy, Sara and Vichith. Congratulations!

National TV Turnoff Week
The Fifth Annual National TV Turnoff Week will take place April 22 - 28, 1999. Here are some great ideas to do instead of watching TV:

Go for a walk Play outside Talk to a Friend,
Jump Rope, Start a family photo album, Visit the Library,
Listen to Music Invent something.
On April 29th have your child bring in a picture or note telling us what they did instead of watching TV and we will put them all on the office bulletin board.

The Link Between School and Home

Skate Night
Remember the last Skate Night this year is Thursday, April 22nd, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at Southgate Roller Rink. Cost is $5.00 per person and that includes roller skate rental. In-line skate rental is $2.00 extra. Just a reminder that you are not to drop your children off, all children must be accompanied by an adult. Any questions? Call Joyce.
