Math/Technology/Science Fair
On Wednesday, February 26th, you will have the opportunity to view over
200 displays which our children have done in the areas of math, technology
and science. Our school will be open from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. so you will have
plenty of time to see them all. We will have a Bake Sale in conjunction with
this event and pop will be sold for $.50. Proceeds will go toward science
instruction, so please send your basket of baked goods to school on the 26th.
If you need to help your child bring his/her project to school, you can
drop it off in our gym on Wednesday morning after 7:30 a.m. Projects can be
taken home at 8:00 p.m. on the 26th.
Please let me know if you can help out in any way by returning the tear-
off at the bottom of this bulletin.
I would like to publicly thank McLendon's Hardware Store for donating
some supplies to help make our fair a success.
Computer System in Lunchroom
The schools in Seattle are moving to a new system in their lunchrooms in
which all students who receive a school lunch will enter a four digit PIN
number into a computer as they go through the lunchline. Arbor Heights
becomes "computerized" next week so if your child tells you his/her lunch
number is XXXX, you'll know what he/she means.
Husky Gymnastics
We have a number of free tickets to the University of Washington
gymnastics meet on Friday, February 21st (tomorrow). If you'd like tickets,
just send a note to school with your child.
