PARENT BULLETIN
September 19, 1996
Two Attachments
Attached to this Parent Bulletin you will find two important items:
1. The Arbor Heights School Calendar
2. A letter from our superintendent on the subject of truancy.
Volleyball Tickets
If you would like to attend a women's volleyball game tomorrow night (Friday, September 20th at 7:30 p.m.) at Hec Edmundson Pavilion, I have tickets available. The University of Washington will be playing Washington State. Just send a note to school tomorrow requesting the number of tickets you need and we'll send them home with your child.
Parties - $3.00
Each year we have two room parties at school. One is on Book Character Day (October 31) and the other is on Valentine's Day. We provide the same treats for all of the rooms. If you could send us $3.00 (no checks please) it will help cover the cost for both parties. If you would like to send in $5.00 it will help cover the cost for families that can't afford this expense. Thank you.
Parking Problems
1. We need to keep the area in front of the school free of cars between 3:00 - 3:30 so that we can safely load our busses. Please do not park east of our driveway on 104th.
2. At 11:10 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. we need to have the area between our two sets of front steps clear for the kindergarten busses. Thank you.

The Seattle School District has a homework hotline phone number (281-6284) for any students K-12 who need help with their homework. It is in operation on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Also, we would like for all of our children to have Seattle Public Library cards. You can get one at any public library.
