Message from the President :
Thank you so much to all who attended our first PTSA meeting and social. Fun was had by all during our "Getting to Know You Bingo" Julie Morrison was the first to "cover" all her BINGO squares. She will receive an Arbor Heights t- shirt. Congratulations to Ann Kremer, Linda Porter, Mari Davis and Aliceta del Castello. They were the winners of our Membership Drive raffle. Membership enrollment continues all year! Please take a few minutes to fill out your envelope and send it in today ! Upcoming activities are the Pancake Breakfast/Fall Clean-up on October 3rd and our first Fun Night in November. Both of these events need your help in planning and preparation. Please help out by signing up soon.

Fall Clean-Up
Let's all do a little something to make Arbor Heights that much better! After enjoying a full breakfast in the morning at the A.H. Pancake Breakfast volunteer for an hour or two, between 9am - 12noon. We'll do some gardening, sweeping and raking. Please bring any tools you have. The more people we have the faster the work will get done and the better our school will look. Call Kristin with any questions.

Fundraising News
Sally Foster wrapping paper sale ends on Sept. 28th. This is very durable paper and a great value. Remember Arbor Heights School receives 50% on all items sold. You do not collect sales tax. Have fun and please do not have children sell door to door or to strangers. Sell ! Sell ! Sell ! Time is running out........Orders are due Monday, September 28th !!!

Skate Night - Join Arbor Heights friends & families on Thursday, Sept. 24th, 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Southgate Roller Rink. The cost is $5.00 per person and this includes skate rental.All children must be accompanied by an adult. Do Not Drop Students Off. Can't wait to see you there. In the past Arbor Heights has had an auction in conjunction with the carnival. Because of all the activities at the carnival, people didn't have an opportunity to write down all their bids. We would like to provide an event that all A.H. Families would enjoy. Please take a moment to fill out the survey and return it to your child's classroom. Thank-you!

Please list your ideas for themes for "Fun Night". One year we had a 70's Grove Dance, last year we had a Hoedown. Larry the linedancer taught many of us some pretty smooth country moves and we have had many requests for his return. Tell us what you want....Joyce or Lori
