I take it that we are talking about a USB (Universal Serial Bus) Hub not a
data Hub. Have you tried attaching the USB Hub to the other end of the
keyboard from the cable connecting the keyboard to the IMac? And then
connecting the mouse to the USB Hub? I haven't tried it but it is supposed
to work. But, then, what you already did was supposed to work also.
