    --- TIC-TECH message:
I have three questions/suggestions/requests for those in charge of the
Tech Forums and the information disseminated from them:

    1) Could someone please post minutes of the forums to Tic-Tech in a
timely fashion? I received minutes from the November 30 meeting today,
December 15 - forwarded to me by my school secretary, who thought I just
might be interested! This was the first news I heard from the meeting.
(I'll be posting a clean copy of those minutes shortly).

    2) In reading over the notes from the meetings, it appears there are
often handouts and brochures available to attendees. Could these please
be posted for those unable to attend? I'm sure every handout is
generated on a computer - and is thus capable of very easily being made
available (in whatever format) on the web for anyone. The same should
be true for Powerpoint presentations, etc. Streaming audio or video
would also be a great option for some presentations.

    3) Can there please be a way to submit questions in advance to the
Forum? These questions could be answered in person at the meetings (and
thus be in the minutes). Simple matter of setting up a web feedback
    form and then advertising it.

It's not like I'm asking the Music department here.... (apologies to the
musicians on the list). There are many schools in Seattle unable to
attend these monthly tech meetings. Additionally, having one meeting a
month is simply not enough to deal with the huge amount of information
and discussion necessary to catch Seattle up to where it should be in
educational technology. Time to step it up, folks. - Mark
