    --- TIC-TECH message:
On Friday night, December 22nd, I watched Disney's American Teacher Awards.
This was the first time that I had seen this show. It was one of the most
uplifting, emotional and inspirational shows that I have ever seen on TV.
It reminded me how incredibly important the teaching profession is, and how
dedicated most teachers are to their students.
In the Information Services department we have a cup that says "A hundred
years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of
house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove......but the world may be
different because I was important in the life of a child."
Teachers are important in the lives of children. To the teachers on
TIC-TECH, I wish you all a wonderful New Year.
