    Wes

I've lost track of what school library computers (OPACs) are out there. I
know with our original purchase 6+ years ago with Netscape 2 or 3 that we
were not able to access some databases.

SPL and KCLS have gone to web based catalogs, if your computer can handle
them. I notice that KCLS says you need IE 4.0 or higher to use the webpac
catalog and apologizes to older Mac users if they are unable to use the
webpac. KCLS and SPL still offer a telnet connection to those people. KCLS
is working with their vendor on being accessible be older computers.

Can another librarian give their current experience from older computers?
