    --- TIC-TECH message:
A reminder to all those who use cks from outside the district with a POP3 or
    IMAP mail client -

In order to send mail from cks when you connect from outside the district,
you must first check (read or receive) your cks mail. This identifies you to
cks so that it knows you are not an unauthorized sender trying to use cks as
a relay. If your email client isn't set up to check or receive mail
automatically on connection, get in the habit of giving it the necessary
commands as soon as you connect.

    Thanks,
    Judy
