    --- TIC-TECH message:
As we previously announced, dial access to CKS is being discontinued.
Originally, we announced that dial access would be shut down effective March
    1. Since we didn't put out a reminder prior to that, I'm delaying the
disconnect to March 15. At that time, it will no longer be possible to
access CKS by dialing in to 206-281-9075.

Telnet access to CKS will remain available. Anyone who has a CKS account and
an ISP (Internet access account) at home can reach CKS by telnet or can use
a POP3 mail client to send and receive mail. CKS will also be accessible by
telnet from the VAXES, and users at schools with Internet access can use
telnet and POP3 to reach CKS as well.

    Thanks,
    Judy
