This is a Great opportunity for all Teachers!!! Hello, Happy Spring to Teachers Everywhere! The Learning Space would like to invite all teachers to sign up to be a Tomorrow's Classroom Teacher Showcase participant. Registration is opened for Tomorrow's Classroom 2001, and would love to have you apply to participate this year!

This event gets bigger and better each year, and as a result here are some highlights of the format change for Tomorrow's Classroom 2001:

    * This year, TC 2001 will run for two days (Aug. 17 & 18, 2001) * The stipend will be $200 per day for each booth. * There will be a "Teacher Gala" on August 16th for showcase participants * More info is available online at: http://www.learningspace.org/TC2001/

Given the increased time commitment (the expectation is that the booth will be manned for the duration of the event), there are a few possible suggestions for organizing a showcase booth. If you sign up for a booth as a team from your school or district, there are a variety of scheduling possibilities:

    * Divide the time equally between team members (i.e. two members could divide each day in half and work the booth for half of each day... 4 members could each take one half-day shift over the two days... ) * You could organize a schedule that would showcase different projects or themes at different times of the day (i.e. Using technology in student writing 8-10 am, Multimedia projects 10 am-Noon, etc., then have teachers work the appropriate shifts)

Watch the Learning Space web site for more details: http://www.learningspace.org/TC2001/

We look forward to your applications and hope to see you at Tomorrow's Classroom 2001! Learning Space For more details contact Debbie Whitney: dwhitney@learningspace.org or Tim Harris: THARRIS.SAKAI.BIDOMAIN@bainbridge.wednet.edu
