    Tic-Tech Members,
I know many of you got or will get this from other educational lists, so
    please excuse the multiple postings:
    ------------------------------------
The Earth Day Groceries Project is finishing up another successful year.
Schools and their students did a fantastic job sending a positive
environmental awareness message to members of their communities. Stop by
    the web site:

    http://www.earthdaybags.org/

Since 1994 this effort has been coordinated entirely on the Internet.
Browse through thousands of reports of schools who made a difference! Take
a look at hundreds of pictures of students displaying their beautiful
artwork - on grocery bags. This project is simply one of the largest
educational art give-aways in existence. The kids' artwork was amazing
and moving. And it was all given away - in a generous statement of
    environmental stewardship.

Reports and pictures are still coming in (it's not too late to send yours
in and be eligible for special prizes!), so do stop by for a visit. If
your school did not participate this year, put it on your calendar for
next April. Thanks to all who participated and sent in a report to
document their school's commitment! Happy Earth Day, every day! - Mark
