--- TIC-TECH message:
I, for one, have had no luck getting my "Full Outlook Client" to pick up
mail from and send mail via my seattleschools.org account. I've tried to set
up a POP account which provides the mail server with my password
automaticaly (this works great inside the district by the way, unsecure
though it may be- our secretary is forever getting stuck trying to log onto
montana) and I have tried to set up an Microsoft Exchange Account.
The Exchange Account seems to work the best in that it will pick up the mail
- once. After that I get errors when sending and recieving. Also I have been
unsuccessful at getting Outlook to leave the mail on the server. My computer
at school is set up to only copy mail to the local machine. I have been
unable to duplicate this at home.
I hate to send "Official" mail using a personal address, but I have to admit
that I am often to lazy when writing email to switch out of Outlook and turn
on a browser and go to www...... and log on and wait for OWA.
It would be great if I could handle all my mail with my email applicaton.

--- TIC-TECH message:
Hi All,
Wondered if others have had success setting up Outlook (or any other
popmail client) to access their seattleschools.org account from home,
i.e., outside the district...? I believe someone once mentioned this
should work, setting up the mail server to mail.seattleschools.org, and
using the same login/password as on OWA. Thanks - Mark
