--- TIC-TECH message:
Hello,
I would like to pass on a little information that I just aquired. I have
some new imac500s. I could get online without any problem but could not
get to edumail. Kept getting the message that the site was not secure
and after clicking ok several times the machines would freeze. After a
lot of assistance from district tech people we found that the problem
was that the time/date was not set correctly. After setting it, edumail
worked just fine. Surely, I think to myself, I set it when I set up the
computers. Then I remembered the following message from Kirk, The Apple
Guy. It seems some of the imacs made between certain dates forget the
date when turned off. The download mentioned in his email is supposed to
fix it. I downloaded it Friday before going home and will check it
Monday. Hopefully all will be well.
A great big thanks to Moraa, April, Joan, Vanessa, and all the other
tech people who helped me.
