In regards to District provided email for personal use, I always advise
    staff
to use school email for school business only. Any email provider can read
your email, and for personal email it is probably best that the provider is
not your "boss." I have also heard that email created on a public agency's
system becomes public record. Public records are stored for a
    state-mandated
length of time and can be requested by just about anybody.
