Is anyone interested in doing some additional Internet Filtering? Tired of
Internet games, e-mail, e-bay, etc? This technique does not mess with Bess
or the district firewall in any way. It just allows you to filter out
URL's beyond what Bess does? It only involves editing a simple file,
entering the sites to block. No additional software is needed and you have
a number of options as to what to do when the user tries to go to the
inappropriate site (send them to another site of your choosing, like the
one they are supposed to be at, your Follett site, or to a message of your
choosing if you have a bit more capacity.

Directions follow if anyone is interested. I couldn't get Fortres's
Internet Filter to work so I went out and built my own using an unused part
of the Windows operating system. This should work on Mac's but I can't
    test it.
