Mark you got a real hodge podge here. Just ask those who try to make IEP's
forms to fit multiple screens!!!
And often times there are techies who work in the schools who don't even
realize that the other factor is refresh rate.
I have seen registrars screens at high schools which the registrar looks at
all day with a startk white background set as low as 55. It's wonderful the
pixels just seems to flash and jump out at the viewer and at the end of the
day the nervous system of the viewer is just plain
shotshotshotshotshotshotshot........................shot!
Some set ups have a place where you can easily set the refresh rate higher
to a more comfortable rate but that can also sacrifice the screen resolution
being set higher depending on the oopmh of the program in charge.

Subject: tictech: screen resolution at schools
-tictech message:
Are all schools in this district setting their screen resolutions at 1024 by
768 (or higher)? Maybe my school is an exception, but all of our machines
are set to 800 by 600. We have too many 14 and 15 inch monitors to go
higher. While still acceptable for most web sites, 800x600 sure doesn't
work well for the Inside SSD site - and OWA. Are other schools out there
still using 800x600? Thanks - Mark
