    -tictech message:

I have a small ($2000) grant to buy technology. I want to
buy a PC, a good workhorse printer which will later
serve a minilab of 6 computers, and a digital camera.
I am thinking I should get a Dell that will match
whatever we will get as the teacher workstations. Good
    idea? Bad?
I am thinking of an HP color printer/scanner/copier.
Good idea? Not? We publish mountains of student created
    books with color drawings.
    Which digital camera is best?
Also, I have been publishing illustrated children's work
in Superprint and Kidpix Studio Deluxe, both obsolete.
What program should young children use to write and
    illustrate on a PC?
I teach 1st-5th bilingual program kids at Whitworth.
Thanks for any advice- Shelley Gibson
