I think that the short answer is: Get a copy of Dreamweaver; compared to
Composer it may seem like overkill but if versatility is what you're
after it is what you'll get with Dreamweaver.

DW is filled whit hidden gems for the autodidactic web designer to
uncover for the next couple of years, so it will grow with you if you
are interested in that sort of thing. A couple of nice features are: the
ability so see code and the resulting page simultaneously so that you
can fidget with code under the hood when the WYSIWYG mode is not doing
what you want it to. Also, if your site becomes complex DW's FTP tool
helps you keep track of what pages go where and makes sure that all
modified pages are uploaded after they have been modified.

About the worksheets - I don't know if this was implicit in your first
email but to make .pdf forms that can be modified on-line with the
acrobat reader you'll need Adobe Acrobat (or possibly some other
company's software that generates .pdf files). Dreamweaver will not do
this. If you're just interested in making a pre-existing .pdf file
available for download Netscape Composer or any other HTML creation
method will do this. If you're interested in printing out worksheets
that you created in HTML on your web site - sans color I suggest
learning a little bit about CSS (cascading style sheets -another thing
that Dreamweaver will do for you). This method will allow you to create
a "printable" page version of a web page that is black and white
includes page breaks and so on, but retains the format of your
    worksheet.

    Hope this helps

    Hi all,

Thanks to everyone who responded to my questions about Dreamweaver, I am

still interested in learning what others think about Dreamweaver, so
    keep it coming.

I am working on a project for my Master's degree at the UW. I hope to
build a website that is more sophisticated than the one I made using
    Netscape Composer.
    http://room103.home.attbi.com/

My goal is to infuse my math curriculum (Investigations / TERC) with
technology. I plan to have activities that I create; therefore the need

to print out my untypical style of worksheets without color. I also
want to use existing websites. This project will be very involved and I
want a tool that will fit the job. Since I am just in the brain stage
of this project, it can go anywhere.

Please feel free to make suggestions, if any of you wonderful people
have any. I feel fortunate that my questions are answered so quickly
    and with so much thought..
