    Crossover does QuickTime, it is written by a company called Codeweavers. It
    is a plugin for viewing attachments and QuickTime movies in browsers. I was
    mistaken in that it is in fact a software project called WINE that is
    allowing Office to run. Also, it would be more correct to call WINE an
    emulation layer that bridges between Win32 (Windows) and X11 (X
    Windows/XFree86) API calls. In fact, this computer doesn't need to be
    running Linux, in fact there is nothing in the images that indicates it is
    Linux. It could be any number of *nix OS's, such as x86 Darwin or some
    other type of BSD.
