    -tictech message:

    Hello All,
Two months ago I asked about rebuilding the tictech list. A few offered
suggestions, and I appreciate the ideas. I will be contacting the webmaster
of the "inside" site and asking for a link to the "tictech on the web" page.

As I said before, right now there are VERY few tictech members who actually
teach or have direct contact with students. I would very much like to
change that. Here's something list members can do now: distribute an email
invitation to people you think would have something to offer and/or would
benefit from the discussions on tictech.

I will be sending out an "Invitation to join tictech" message later this
evening. Please feel free to distribute/forward it to colleagues in your
buildings, groups of teachers, and so on. For instance, I have a "group" of
staff I regularly email all the minutes of our staff meetings - I'll be
sending it on to them. I know that IT and IS staff are going around to many
schools this year rolling out the teacher workstations - another great
opportunity to extend an invitation to join. If you have more ideas, please
send them on. Thanks! - Mark
