There is this cool little device that looks like an egg sliced in half along
it's ... equator for lack of a better term. You set the flat side on the
table and the dome has a little crescent slice in it where you insert a
sheet of written paper so that it stands up nicely. The larger ones are
the size of an egg and are filled with sand. These will disappear quickly.
There is a smaller version - about the size of a large jelly bean that has a
pretty solid sticky base that lasts longer.

Both models are availble for a test drive at the University of Washington
    bookstore.

It has been suggested that I buy a device that the students can stand/clip
their work onto when they keyboard.

Anyone have a secret invention they want to share? How long can I expect
these items to last? Sounds like a "consumable" to me.

            Thoughts?

            Thanks,
