    Matt,

You can enter google and then hit the Control and Enter keys together. This
will automatically add the http://www and .com to the address.THis works
    with any .com address.

You can also make a custom link bar with the search engines you want to use.
You may have to load the toolbar by selecting View, Toolbars, Links. It's
also possible that you will need to unlock the toolbar by right clicking on
it and making sure Lock Toolbars is unchecked. Then, clean up and organize
the existing Links toolbar. To delete any unwanted items, right-click the
link and select Delete. To change their order, drag a link to a new
location. To give items a name that makes sense to you, right-click the link
and select Rename. To add sites to the toolbar, connect to the site and drag
the URL to the toolbar. I believe you have access to do this on the CWS
machines but I haven't tried it yet.

    -tictech message:

Hopefully someone can help me change an IE behavior on my CWS that is
different from IE on the Macintoshes I use with students and at home.

On the Mac version if I want to visit a site that begins WWW. and ends .COM
I can omit those parts of the URL and the browser adds them for me so
WWW.GOOGLE.COM and GOOGLE get me to the same site.

On the CWS machine GOOGLE brings me to an MSN search page. Does anyone know
if there is an option for the CWS machines that I can set to get the more
Mac-like behavior I am used to?

Alternatively, is there a way to set a different search engine in place of
MSN? Or again, could I somehow associate a function key to a specific site
    (F7 = www.google.com, or similar) ?

    Thanks!
