--- TIC-TECH message:
(Judy, I probably was off by a day, so just Sun and Mon. - Mark)
Mark,
Thanks for letting us know about this. I thought we had the automated
process fixed, but obviously it's not. Can you clarify something for me? You
said cks has been refusing to relay for three days, which sounds like
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Is that correct? If so, we have a different
problem, because the automated process runs about 2 a.m. on Sunday. Let me
know and we'll try to track it down.
Thanks,
Judy

--- TIC-TECH message:
Hi all,
For the last three days the pop mail server for cks has not been able to
send mail out of the cks domain. This happened for two weekends in a row
before. I've reported it on Monday mornings, and it's been fixed.
This weekend I noticed the problem again, but did not report it. Tonight
I waste an hour composing emails that are bounced back to me. This means I
can't use Netscape's email program to send. So I'm sending this message
using Pine - a couple of tic-tech messages and personal responses are
waiting in my popmail "drafts" folder. Heck, maybe I'm the only one
experiencing this problem, I dunno ... I figured someone else would have
reported it by now (Monday evening), or it would have been detected and
fixed.
The point is, if you notice a problem with your email, report it to the
help desk, tic-tech, whatever. Don't assume someone else has noticed and
is taking care of things. You are probably not alone. Thanks - Mark
ps - if you notice ANY problems with tic-tech, please let me know right
away.
