Subject: FW: February Teacher Training at the Puget Sound Environmental Le arni
ng Center!
There's still space available for our February teacher training session on
the Puget Sound Environmental Learning Center's beautiful Bainbridge Island
site. Spend a great day in the outdoors learning and sharing with your
peers.
TEACHING ACROSS THE DISCIPLINES
Audience: Teachers (clock hours available)
Date: Saturday, February 10
Time: 9:30AM-5:00PM
Fee: $75, lunch included
(No need to bring a car on the ferry, we provide a free shuttle to our
site!)
Instructor: Denise Dumouchel, PSELC Director of Education
Learn how math, science, language arts, music, and social studies can be
taught in a natural setting. Integrating many disciplines and using the
watershed as our theme, we will draw, write, calculate, measure, compose and
create a multi-disciplinary curriculum. At the end of the day a culminating
discussion will help you apply what you've learned to your own school
setting.
To Register, call Jeanie Mascia, PSELC Registrar, 206.441.2769 or e-mail to
jeaniem@pselc.org <mailto:jeaniem@pselc.org> .
