Tony and All,
I had the same sinking feeling watching some local news station on Earth
Day - as they were bemoaning the "fact" that nobody seemed to care about
Earth Day any more. There I was, sitting at my computer, watching reports
and pictures pounding in to my email (for the Earth Day Groceries
Project), and I wanted to say, "Hey, look over here! The kids care!..."
or something like that, you get the idea.
Tony, thanks for sharing the wonderful list of reviewed links (I'll be in
touch with you on this more). And if folks are looking for more testimony
that kids (and their teachers) still care about Earth Day, stop by
http://www.earthdaybags.org - be sure to browse through "pictures" and
"read reports". Nice to see so many Seattle schools involved this year,
by the way :) - Mark
