--- TIC-TECH message:
Greg, you are right. Photos are not addressed in the new policy because we
have a separate release for that. It is a bit confusing, but that is what
legal advised. I will work with the IT staff and will review the policies
and provide some clarification in the next week.

Subject: Tic-Tech: student photos on websites
--- TIC-TECH message:
It is true that the district will be using a negative check-off system next
year, which is a good thing. But student photos on school web sites is not
addressed in this form. Will SSD issue guidelines for schools on this
issue?
At Hay we issued our own permission slip for students to have thier digital
photos on our website. But I am always nervous not knowing if the district
will back us up should it become an issue. How do other schools deal with
student photos on the web?
