    --- TIC-TECH message:
    Sean,

Here's an explanation of why you don't see the hint text on the Mac when
using OWA (explanation courtesy of April Johnson) plus a workaround:

In Internet Explorer on a Mac, the java code doesn't work quite right.
However, if you look at the bottom left of your screen (down in the status
line), you'll notice that a somewhat cryptic line entry is visible, and
gives a pretty good hint as to what the button does.

For instance, if you put your mouse over the icon for create new message,
the line "javascript:parent.composeNew(0)" appears in the lower left of
    your IE window.

    Thanks,

Subject: Tic-Tech: pop up text in OWA

    --- TIC-TECH message:
Does anyone not see the pop-up-text (I think I have the terminology
    correct)
when they are using OWA (Outlook Web Access) with an IMAC?

I am referring to the descriptive text you see when you put your mouse
    arrow
    on say the reply icon.

When I use OWA from my pc at home I always see the text. I am wondering
    if
there is something that has to be turned on for it to work on the IMAC?

I was showing a novice user today how to use OWA on an IMAC and it was
    quite
challenging to understand what the icon does without descriptive text.
