    Janet,

This was discussed at the last tech forum meeting.

Apple's recommendation for the Seattle School District throughout the rest
of the '01/'02 school year is for you to not use OS X, but to re-boot into
OS/9. If you are further worried about having OS X on the hard disk, then
you can delete the folder "System" on the disk and OS X will become
unbootable. Much like the district isn't supporting Windows XP at this time
(as far as I know), it's a prudent decision as none of the analysts have
been trained on the new OS.

There is a group of folks looking at how OS X can fit and be supportable
within the SSD environment. It is our hope that this group could help create
an OS X configuration that would fit the district requirements for
    supportability (is that a word?).

There are no explicit "holes" in Mac OS X Server. You can always see what is
going on with OS X and security at
    http://www.apple.com/support/security/security_updates.html.
