Hi Mark,
I received the info via our principal in an all staff email. I asked if I
would be eligible since I'm our building tech coordinator and have been
doing the described job for the past five years. He looked into it, and was
told that it was available for certs only (I'm a classified employee) - so
the $$ will go to a teacher in our building if they want the position. Hope
this helps answer at least one of your questions.

Subject: tictech: ET Leadership position information

Wondered if there was some more information out there.... regarding the
Educational Technology Leader stipend positions posted on Monday. A couple
of weeks ago I was shown an email describing the position in detail
(required meetings and dates, specific info on qualifications, etc.), and I
noticed the job listing does not mention these things. Do those
requirements still stand? Also, I thought I read that the building
leadership teams were to be included in the hiring process...? Might be off
on that one. Is there an application, or is an appointment just made? And
I don't recall reading in the email that this was a stipend open only to
classroom teachers. Is that indeed the case? Are building tech specialists
not eligible for this position? Finally, I assume there is a logical reason
the secondary stipend is over $200 more than the elementary position. What
is it?
I realize there are way too many questions here, and I'm sure some of them
are just plain stupid, but I would appreciate any light someone can shed on
any of them. Thanks - Mark
