    Happy New Year to you,

I have a couple of things I'd like to share with you. One is that I have in
article in the January/February issue of Ferdi's MultiMedia School magazine
titled, "A Virtual Field Trip into Real Technology Standards." If you are
interested in virtual field trips in the classroom, this may be of interest
    to you.

Second, I've posted "Windows on the World" as January's featured virtual
field trip. This trip is especially good for a high school level but take a
look no matter what age group you work with. You're bound to find some
fascinating sites among the collection. Included you'll discover embassy
information, CIA Factbook, info on the Euro, world maps, weather around the
world, time zones, currency conversion and more.
Go to http://www.tramline.com/ and click on the Virtual Field Trips link.
Then the featured trip, Windows on the World.

Best wishes to all for a peaceful new year.
    Kim
