Happy New Year to all you folks!
Thank you Kim for telling about your featured field trip.
In case some of you don't know about tramline software, it is really
great. (No, I don't work for Kim.)
When you want to set up a series of websites for your students to look
at, the tramline software is easy to use. You can add notes at the
bottom of each 'page' that instruct the student what to look for in the
page. It has advantages over setting up a webpage with links for
research on a given topic. I use it when I want my students to look at
sites in a specific order and to add pages of information or directions
of my own. If you don't want your students wandering into other parts
of the selected links, this setup can help to limit your students and
keep them focused.
If you haven't looked at her field trips, take some time. It is well
worth it. This link takes you to her list of trips. Easy to access from
your classroom.

I just looked at the one on baking bread and intend to use it this
spring and I'll bring my breadmaker in for a treat.
