You need to logon as that user and configure these settings and the profile
will stay. It is easier if you use a generic account to logon to those
library computers like Student, for example. If you use System Policy or
Group Policy or other security software, you have to temporary give those
accounts permissions to change their profile and save them and then you can
put security back on those machines. I hope this will help.
