Excellent, that in itself should keep a bunch of problems at bay. If I
remember correctly in the beginning, Teachers were supposed to use Edumail
and us technical staff used webmail. With April's assurance there, I
shouldn't even have to tell anyone Edumail is going away.

Public folders should be visible in Webmail - but you'll need to click on
the "folders" icon, in the upper left, just under the "outlook web access"
    graphic.

The reasons for having both are many.
    a) we were upgrading from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000, and wanted to make
sure everyone had access to web-based email during the transition.
    b) with the old system, there was one www server for every mail server, and
so when we added mail server #2, we added Edumail.

    It's my hope that we'll get to a single sign-on (webmail.seattleschools.org)
in the near future... but I want to make sure everyone can use the new email
system (now on Webmail) before I turn off the old email system (now on
    Edumail).

Btw - even if we do move to a single sign on... the name Edumail will still
get you to web-based email. Have no fear :)

    Enjoy!

Can someone tell me why we have both edumail and Webmail? Also, I suppose
that Webmail is an option, if you don't happen to want to access public
folders. They don't appear in Webmail, at least not on my browser.
