I think the flea market is a great idea. I, for one, have a mini lab of 9
mac classics that are in constant use for word processing, Type to Learn,
and LogoWriter (rainy day recess they're used for the game Oxyd). I would
gladly take a working HP deskwriter or a serial color printer. Mice that
still work well are also welcome.

    Hi.
I'd like to start a district tech flea market. The idea is in it's
infancy and you should consider this email a request for suggestions
regarding concept and form. I would like organize a system where we can
    trade unused items.

For example, I have a number of ATI All In Wonder Pro video cards new in
the box. I would post these and whoever has something of value could
offer to trade. The types of item could be both personal and district
property, with the district property needing to stay in the schools.
Anything having a bar code would require the submission of a transfer
    form.

We can do the equivalent of dumpster diving, requesting desired items
and posting our refuse. There's probably someone who wants those
    LCIII's (scary thought)!

Let me know if you are interested. If there is enough interest, I'll
put a site together. It can be our own little "inside" version of a
    barter based eBay.
