I just called someone about this we had a bunch of old computers picked up
in February, however we found 3 more since then. Instead of waiting for
stuff to pile up & have surplus come and pick everything up, I called and
asked if I could just drop them off. I was told I couldn't because of a
union issue....they have to come and get it for you.

    Ditto!

I was told we would be charged for the pickup too.

I remember Charlie Walker mentioning the place near the Stanford Center, and
I would gladly take them there myself if I new the address. (hint hint)

We have several old computers at Orca Elementary school. I have not counted
them, but there must be 30 or more. Most of them do not work and are old
apples. Some are from the SSD and some were donated. They are taking up our
very limited storage space. Does anyone want them? If not, who do I contact
at the District to get them removed. I know the SSD has a place that they
send old computers near the Stanford Center. I would prefer to take them
there myself if possible. We have not had any luck getting the SSD to pick
    up
our surplus (even though we budgeted it) and I do not expect this to be an
    exception.
