    -tictech message:

    Jim,

I bounce back and forth between the students using Word '98, my using 2001
at my teacher desk and then using Word for OSX at home. Word transfers well
between all three levels of Office software. These are all Mac machines.

The problem stated below was tried on Word (Office) for OSX.

So, I'll try resaving the documents as webpages at school in both 2001 and
'98. My bet is that one will work as I haven't had this problem in the past.

I just didn't think of it as a newer software problem - if that is what it
    turns out to be.

    I'll let you know.

    Thanks,
    Kevin
